Additional Programs
There are many other scholarship opportunities available for members of the hemophilia community who are pursuing higher education. For more information on additional scholarship programs, please visit LA Kelley Communications, the National Hemophilia Foundation or the Hemophilia Federation of America.
If you're interested in pursuing higher education, but not sure what type of degree or school, then the Career, Education, & Opportunities (CEO) program is for you. Created specifically for the teen hemophilia and clotting disorder community, CEO is a one-day session held in conjunction with treatment centers nationwide to help you get ready for "the real world." Find a list of scheduled CEO events in your area.
And speaking of the real world, if you’re facing the real struggles of financing both a college education and insurance coverage for your hemophilia, the CARE (Coverage, Assistance, Resources, Education) program, is designed to help people living with hemophilia proactively manage the complex and challenging health insurance world.
